A self guided easy 5 or 6 day cycle tour of the Great Taste Trail loop. It is a mixture of coastal wetland, pristine beaches, 2 scenic National parks, a disused rail tunnel, vineyards, breweries with wine, beer & cider tastings, great foods and art.
Feel the wind in your hair as you cycle on your bike or ebike through this area, in many ways akin to Provence in the south of France, rich in nature's bounty where orchard fruits, fresh berry ice creams, wine, beer, cider, avocadoes, olive oils, wonderful pies & more of nature's bounty abound. There's history in the Moutere with New Zealand's oldest pub, a seafood smokehouse, hop kilns, art glass & glass blowing & arts galore to tantalise & enthrall. Cycle at your pace and stop to explore whatever takes your fancy, have a leisure day and perhaps a cruise from Kaiteriteri out in the magic of the Abel Tasman adventure playground. Deposit/tour price will be refunded as follows: Nelson Cycle Hire reserves the right to charge a one- off cancellation fee. 61 plus days - 100% of tour sum less $50 fee 31-60 days - 75% of tour sum 14-30 days - 50% of tour sum 0-14 days – tours of 2 days or more, no refund 0-14 days – one day tours are transferable or subject to 50% refund.
