Would you like to be a regular player within the Nelson Jazz Club Big Band?

We meet every Monday at 7pm at The Barn, behind the Honest Lawyer.

We have a number of gigs throughout the year we prepare for. We also have an annual trip to Chch over Labour Weekend for the Chch Big Band Festival.

Musician's need to have a competent level of music reading skills and must be prepared to commit to the band.

Membership of the band and the Nelson Jazz Club is $20 per year for adults or Free for students.

Positions are available for Secondary Students.

Instruments within the band includes: Saxophones, Trombones, Trumpets, Drums, Bass, Guitar, Keys and Vocals.
