On Waitangi Day, our February Jazz Jam Night features The Paradise Band, consisting of:
- Alan Burden on taramu
- Colette Jansen on kaiwaiata
- Heather Wilson on piana
- Iain Clark on rehu matangi and rehu kōkō
- Ivan Outram on rakuraku hiko
- Jak Karaitiana on rakuraku panguru

The Paradise Band will play for about an hour and then the floor is open for a jazzy jam session, with the Guest Band being available to support jamming artists.

Our aim is to increase performance space and diversity of jazz within our community. We also seek to foster a greater appreciation of jazz and expand our local jazz community.

Nelson Jazz Club Members will have a discounted entry to each Club Night. (eftpos is now available at the door)
