Annesbrook Drive, Stoke 7011
The Whakatu Coastal Pathway is possibly one of the region's most popular off-road trails. It links the suburb of Stoke with Richmond.
The shared, off-road pathway is frequented by walkers, runners and cyclists looking to enjoy the surrounding coastline that Tasman Bay is renowned for, but also to enjoy a diversity of exercise experiences.
Beginning at Annesbrook Roundabout, the Whakatu Coastal Pathway links through to Reservoir Creek but is connected with many other routes, making it possible to switch up the length, difficulty and scenery at any point. Indulge in coastal views as you weave around the Monaco Peninsula or explore the Airport Perimeter, enjoy a different type of water-side experience at Poorman or Orphanage Stream, or step back in time on the historic Railway Reserve.
You can access the Whakatu Coastal Pathway at the underpass of the Annesbrook Roundabout or begin from the other end at Reservoir Creek in Richmond.
