Quaint beachfront properties, boutique art studios and boats rocking to the ebb and flow of the tide characterise the village, whilst a beachside book exchange and a buoyant picnic table enthral those exploring the area. In the 1950’s, residents used to plan their days entirely around the tides and although there is now a high tide road, the area retains its old school charm.
During summer, you’ll see children swimming at the jetty or reeling in a fish, whilst winter usually brings out the scarves and gloves as evening walkers watch the sunset behind the Western Ranges.
